Scientific Software Engineer required for the UK
We are looking for an Experienced Java and/or .NET Software Developer with a good understanding of data mining, linguistic, text matching, KM, intelligent/neural technology together with XML and RDBMS, Web distribution systems in addition to other data mining management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a good team renowned for their skilled expertise in usage of ontologies in developing large scale ontological enterprise solutions in the field of drug discovery, pharmaceutical and other scientific technology clients. It would be an advantage to have scientific qualifications or relevant experience particularly in the fields of informatics, biology, patent or safety science related database development, chemistry, and search techniques.
You will collaborate with the life sciences teams in addition to the Content Engineer with biomedical knowledge in constructing tools and frameworks for the integration of ontology content together with other text/data mining and visulaisation applications.
